Specialty board-certified pathologists, medical technologists, laboratory technicians and phlebotomists work together at our advanced lab facilities to ensure that your results are accurate and the turnaround time for results is as quick as possible. Our hospitals perform more than 3 million tests annually with the help of state-of-the-art technology manned by our anatomic and clinical pathology specialists.

Our laboratory consists of anatomical and clinical testing departments that are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), along with other significant accreditations.

The Community Healthcare System Laboratory has been an innovator in the industry for areas such as delivery of rapid results, laboratory automation and quality.

Our physicians and laboratory professionals collaborated to develop a program to deliver next-day results for women undergoing breast biopsy procedures. We have continued to build upon these efforts by reducing wait times for cancer diagnoses at our hospitals, helping to make an anxious time a little easier for our patients.
