Caregivers
At Al Zahra Hospital Dubai we believe that home-based care offers the most therapeutic environment for the elderly and persons with chronic illnesses. We are dedicated to keeping our clients comfortable and safe, whilst simplifying daily living for their families. Knowing that your loved one is being cared for by a qualified caregiver, also known as a care worker or home nurse, allows you to get on with your work and personal life free of stress and anxiety.
Our experienced caregivers are available 24 hours a day and our flexible scheduling means we can provide the care you need when you need it.
Our “Home from Hospital” programme includes:
- Providing a caregiver to collect your loved one from the hospital
- Collecting prescriptions and arranging essential groceries for you
- Meal preparation
- Help getting settled comfortably
- A phone call to you that their loved one is safe at home
- A caregiver to sleep-over with you, for reassurance on your first day's home
Our caregivers can also assist clients while they are staying in other facilities such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centres and residential homes, Extra Care and supported living homes.
Al Zahra Caregiver can also help you or your loved one recuperate at home with temporary or longer term care packages, designed with you, to help get you active, again. If you are worried about your home and belongings, while you are in hospital, we can arrange for a home sitter to live there while you are away.
